Filling Spaces Inc. is a 509 A(2) nonprofit public charity founded by Matthew and Alivia Oliver, a dedicated couple whose personal and professional experiences ignited a passion for supporting and helping the community. While working in the public school systems from 2015 to 2024—as a school counselor and behavior therapist assistant—they witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by students living in inadequate housing conditions, such as lacking proper beds.

Inspired by these stories and fueled by Matthew’s personal journey born with severe Hemophilia, the Oliver's set out to create an organization that provides essential furniture to individuals and families in need. Looking ahead, Filling Spaces is committed to expanding its impact by launching a free housing initiative, further solidifying its mission to create comfortable and stable living environments for people in need.
